ABOUT my work
Customers I serve:
I work with parents and non parents around the world who are on the path of awakening. They may be relatively new to the path of intentional, conscious, and authentic living and parenting or they may have been on the journey for a long time.
I specialize in supporting families by creating more authenticity in parents and depend connections with their children. This returning and embracing authenticity within their families helps them shift from surviving to thriving. They are ready to start taking steps towards learning tools, developing boundaries, and shifting the dynamic in your family to help themselves and their family thrive. They learn how to listen and communicate in ways to increase respect and understanding within their family. As they continue to practice and implement conscious parenting practices, their family will feel calmer, less reactive, and more connected. An authentic and thriving family awaits!
The people I work with are ready to take a wider perspective to identify what is holding them back in life and what is propelling them forward, all while staying in the present moment. They are ready to begin to unravel the layers, integrate the challenges, see the abundance, practice non-attachment, and more. Their desires become more clear, the steps to take to meet your goals come to light, and they begin to accept life in its current state and are then able to move towards manifesting their purpose with authenticity.
No matter how long we have been doing this work, we all have blind spots, so be assured that I will support and guide you in a safe nonjudgmental space, allowing you to lead the way.
My Work Experience:
Since 2016 I have been been coaching and guiding parents and nonparents, doing workshops, teaching courses, holding sacred circles, supporting people of various ages and experiences. The one thing in common is wanting to reconnect with themselves and rediscover their authentic self. Through explorations and accessible tools, I help people release the expectations and pressures that life has placed on them over the years, especially in their parenting. As you nourish yourself, you are able to live a life with deeper connections, authenticity, and acceptance of yourself and others, allowing for more flow and ease during the joyful and challenging moments in life.
All experiences and feelings are a necessary part of life. We need the dark with the light, the struggles with the joy, the rain with the rainbows, this is authenticity and wholeness. When I coach people with a parenting challenge or an obstacle occurring in their life, the more we look at the big picture, including the fears and worries we all may have, the more complete we begin to feel. When we feel complete, we can move forward. When we heal, we can move forward. When we accept and forgive (including ourself), we can move forward. To do all of this work is not easy, it requires courage and vulnerability. However, it is a path worth taking. This path takes us towards authenticity, towards connection, and ultimately the path back to wholeness. Conscious parenting and authenticity coaching supports you on your journey back to your authentic self.
I love the quote by Rumi ""You have to keep breaking your heart until it opens." Through pain, we grow, evolve, remember, and reconnect with our truest self. As we do this work we change not only our own life, but all of those we touch along the way.

I spent my life fulfilling the expectations of others - "do great in school, go to college, get a well paying job, get married, have kids". I was a good girl and did what I was told. I was working as an environmental engineering consultant, bought a house, got married, and then pregnant.
I followed the rules. I stayed in my head. I lost myself in the process. I often wondered - who was I really?
From not knowing I was having twins until halfway through the pregnancy to 12 weeks of bed rest then 12 days in the NICU after they were born, my daughters made it clear that my expectations of motherhood would be anything but. Little did I know they would wake me up from my slumber.
Over the years I would ask myself - Why was I parenting in a traditional way that didn’t feel good for any of us? Why don’t I trust myself? What was I doing wrong? These questions started me on my path of rediscovering my authentic self and becoming a conscious parent.
I began to pause rather than punish, listen rather than lecture, connect rather than correct, feel rather than fix and with this radical shift the relationships with my daughters, who are now in their 20s, deepened to one of mutual admiration and respect.
Through my own journey, I found my passion of guiding and supporting parents and non parents as a Conscious Parenting and Authenticity Coach, to re-discover themselves and understand that our children and others we meet in our life are our teachers for inner growth. Through unlocking and reconnecting with our own authenticity, we are able to support our kids to stay better connected to their inner knowing, their truth, their voice, shifting the parenting paradigm on it’s head and changing not only their own family but future generations.
My mission and purpose is to help people reclaim their truth and inner knowing, empowering them to create more peace, joy, deeper relationships, and authenticity in their family and life.
In addition to being a Conscious Coach since 2016, I’m also the co-host of the weekly podcast “Masks Off”, former engineer, nature fan, animal lover, and anti-racist. I continue to practice living each day with consciousness, presence, and authenticity as our evolving never ends. I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey.
"I am so grateful for Tia and her wisdom and encouragement. During our sessions I never felt judged for my mistakes. She treated me with empathy and kindness every step of the way. It is such a huge gift to have such a resource. I feel more confident in my own abilities and I know that when my family hits the inevitable bumps in the road, I have a wonderful safe place to gain more wisdom."
~Mom of 2 Children Under 4, Wisconsin
"When my oldest daughter became a teen her personality changed almost overnight and I was faced with situations that I was not prepared to handle . Tia gave me the emotional tools and understanding to help support my daughter through this stage of her life. I am so thankful for all that Tia has done for my family."
~Mom of a pre-teen and teen, Wisconsin
"Tia's incredible capacity to listen without judgement, to hold a mirror up for us as parents to see what does and does not work and to offer insight to the mind's of our children, are a few of her greatest talents."
~Mom of 2 elementary age children, Wisconsin
"You helped me so much in just one session. Thank you!"
~Mom of teenager, North Dakota
“Tia did an amazing job of presenting just the right amount of information each session to get us reflecting, and was a relaxed, encouraging discussion leader. It was clear that parents felt safe enough to really examine their parenting practices, and to open up and share both the successful and the challenging experiences they've had. Somehow Tia knew just how and when to push someone a little beyond their comfort zone and could also sit in companionable, empathetic silence as the group absorbed moments of deep significance. Having led many parenting conversations myself, I know what a difficult line this is to walk, so I was doubly impressed by the skills and humility of Tia as a group leader and mentor."
